The study dealt with the role of the administrative leadership in
achieving intellectual capital in the Sudanese Sugar Company during the period from 2012 to 2016. The study aimed to identify the impact of
administrative leadership in achieving intellectual capital. The study followed a descriptive, analytical and case study methods. Data were
collected from primary sources via questionnaire and interview
instruments as well as the secondary sources. A simple stratified sample
was selected from the administrative staff of the Sudanese Sugar
Company. the population size is 350 and the selected sample is 182
representing 52% of the study population. Also Interviews were
carriedout with a number of respondents. The findings of the study are
that, the company suffers from the migration of minds, competencies and
expertise to other sugar companies and factories such as Kenana Sugar
Company and Nile White Sugar Company. The study also found that the
administrative leadership of the Sudanese Sugar Company is concerned
with the development of intellectual capital through training and
qualifying its employees. It also encourages helding training programs to
enhance the performance of personnel. The study concluded with
recommendations of which the most most important are, the top
management of the Sudanese Sugar Company must limit the migration of
minds and competencies and expertise through improving the morale and
material incentives. As well as the administrative leadership of the
company has to develop intellectual capital through training and
qualifying the employees. Inaddition, further researches related to the
subject of the study must be carriedout, such as the impact of high
turnover on the continuity of factories belonging to the Sudanese Sugar
Company, and the low morale of employees in Sudanese sugar factories
on production and productivity. |
