dc.description.abstract In the scope of software engineering, the models for software development process and their associated principles and techniques have provided better understanding of the activities in the process lead to great improvements in productivity and quality of software. Researchers all times face software crisis as difficulties in capturing requirements, competing and contradictory requirements and changing requirements lead to complexity of the problem domain, and the methods used is feasible and applicable technologies for small systems do not keep pace with major projects and plans in addition to the length of time and material cost. In this dissertation, object oriented concept programming use to provide productive, usable, maintainable, dependable, and efficiency through application on student information system for East of the Nile Faculty based on descriptive system of unified modeling language version 6 and implementation with visual studio 2005 VB.net. System designed has many functions like registration follow up, academic year, university fees and student’s results. In this system language used Access for building database and VB.NET for designing because (from technical standpoint) the world of applications is changing move to Web and need for reusability, centralization and scalability. The designed system has many interfaces firstly, a display screen enable to access the system contains user name, password “fill it to login the system”, two bottoms for enter and exit. Secondly, main screen contain system components, scientific affairs, student affairs, teacher affairs, admission management and laboratories, lecture rooms management. Choose any components and double click lead to special screen. The Output implementation display report calendar information and show report fees information. To achieve optimum results for the system it is better to be team work not personal efforts, in order to enhance the system. The study recommends applying this system to discover its weakness to promote it, in future work the system can be enhanced to get an optimum result. Extra efforts must be carried by all managers to develop programs so as to reach the useful, flexible and efficiency system to apply for student registration systems. en_US
